Photoshop brushes from Dover!

Graphic designers rejoice! Dover Publishing have just come out with two new books that include Photoshop brushes!

"Create an endless array of customised creations with this garden of design tools. Specially created for use with Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, this easy-to-use resource helps designers, crafters and scrapbookers use powerful tools to construct rich textured, professional-looking compositions."

Included in this book and CD-ROM is a collection of 120 brushes and 41 customs shapes carefully selected from Dover archives. A set of 20 specialty texture brushes and an assortment of styles are also included to expand the expressive range of the brushes and shapes.

Also included is:
- a  tutorial section with step-by-step instructions for installing the tools
- color illustrations to show examples of the effects that can be achieved with the tools
- an index at the back so you can reference the tools.

♥ BLOG WEAR FREEBIE ♥

As you can see, I redesigned my blog the other day and I'm loving the new design! Believe it or not, it wasn't that hard to figure out how to install either.... so I thought I'd celebrate my new look by giving away a 'blog wear' freebie called 'Chelsea Flowers'.

This template will only work for blogger accounts, and is best viewed on a 15 to 17 inch monitor or bigger.
I have included simple instructions in the 'Terms of Use' file on how to load it into your blog. Please ensure you save your current blog first though (download blog), and check the preview before 'saving'! :)

The header will come blank, so you can put your own custom text in there. I used a font called 'Tropicana' on mine, just for your info.

You will need 1. A blogger account, 2. An image hosting site (photobucket free version doesn't allow images this size. Try http://www.imageshack.us/ - it's free). 3. Your own graphic editing program to put your own text header in.

I'm crazy for all things vintage - in case you haven't guessed!

I've had a lot of fun lately experimenting with brushwork techniques in Photoshop using antique elements that I've collected and digitised over the years. I thought you might enjoy designing with them too, and so I have now released them as a collection!

There are 40 brushes in this mega-pack, just perfect for adding that nostalgic touch to all your creations. Here you'll find an inspiring combination of fun and funky elements, mixed up with frames, decorative motifs, and random handwriting scribbles!

My new 'Love Shack' paper scrapbooking line was released by Bo Bunny Press at winter CHA in January 2009.
